Getting Here

The gravel road is in good condition year-round. Worth every kilometre.

Follow the N4 from Pretoria towards Bronkhorstspruit / Nelspruit.

Take Exit 18 — Boschkop / Donkerhoek (note: toll gate on this offramp).

After the tollgate, turn left towards the R104.

At the T-junction, turn right on R104 towards Bronkhorstspruit.

About 1km down, turn right into Rhenosterfontein Road (road crosses over the freeway, then becomes gravel).

Follow the gravel road for 4.4km.

Look for the stone wall with the Soetwaters Guest House sign on your left.

Take the R21 towards Pretoria for approximately 13.4km.

Take Exit 32 for R25 towards Bronkhorstspruit / M87 / Thembisa.

Turn left onto R25 at the end of the offramp, follow east for approximately 15km.

At the T-junction, turn right onto R50 (Delmas Road) for 1.7km.

At the 4-way stop, turn left back onto R25 and follow for 16km.

Turn left onto R515 towards Rayton / Cullinan, follow for 10km.

Turn left onto the Donkerhoek gravel road.

Follow the gravel road for 4.4km — Soetwaters is on your right. Note: the sign on the stone wall is easy to miss from this side — look carefully.
